Rapid City South Dakota KOA Campground If you are planning to camp in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I can make no better recommendation than the Rapid City KOA Campground. I've stayed at the KOA twice and my most recent visit spurred this page. Ok so this is a luxury campground, most KOA Campgrounds are. This one is complete with game room, pool, hot tub and basket ball court. They also serve great food and have clean shower and bathroom facilities. What sets this KOA apart is the service level I received. I needed to find a place with Internet access. I didn't even have a laptop with me and was realizing just how out there Rapid City still was. I asked in the gift shop/office if they knew any coffee shops that might have terminals. They didn't but took the time to call all around Rapid City until they located me a place called Java Junkie. Java Junkie had a laptop free to use for checking e-mail etc. This was perfect and the staff accepted nothing but a thanks for doing the detective work.
