Very cool bike to ride but the Desmo valves needed a $250.00 adjustment every 2500 miles.  The Ducati M900 Monster used a vacuum operated fuel pump in 1995 and when mine failed it took 60 days to get the part.  I finally had to get the part from Fast By Ferracci.  During my wait I used a snowmobile fuel pump which worked as long as I didn't go faster than 70 mph.
