1976 Harley Davidson FXE Super Glide with Apehangers and a Fatbob

This is how it looks in its final configuration.  See Here for the stock and soon after pictures.  This bike was a love/hate relationship.  I loved the lines of the bike.  I put a ton of work polishing all the aluminum surfaces.  I did stupid stuff like painting a used gas tank that leaked.  One time it started on fire when the wiring from the dash shorted on the area of the leak.  The bike got towed more times than I can count.  The problem wasn't so much the bike as where I got it serviced.  Lesson learned, just because the shop can get you in right away doesn't mean they deserve your business.
