Bought in the fall of 1999, the wife was learning to ride on this bike

Sold August 2001  When I got this bike it ran so lean that it backfired out of the carb at stoplights.  After adding the pipes it would barely run until I installed the Dynojet kit.  That was no easy task as one of the carbs is tucked way under the tank and the screws on the carbs are really weak.  I would recommend that anyone who rejets this bike replace the screws with same size allen screws.  Chances are you'll have stripped at least a couple of the old ones and if you need to get in there later it will be a piece of cake.  Being a V-Twin this bike sounds sweet with the Cobra slip-on exhaust.  Check out some of the online exhaust sales sites on the net, some have samples you can hear to see how cool it sounds.

Removed the PAIR smog device from the side.
