I purchased a $1299.00 Nikon D70 digital SLR camera for my wife as a Valentines present. I gave it to her early expecting we could use Valentines weekend to take pictures of our new puppy. To my embarrassment there is a sticker on the top of the camera box stating that if the camera is returned there will be a 15% restocking fee. In the store I was able to hold the camera a but because no memory was in the camera I have no idea if we even like the quality of the prints. No one at Best Buy told me about this policy and because I was in a hurry I never noticed it on the box until I gave it as a gift. I called Best Buy and sure enough I must risk $194.00 to open the camera and see if my wife likes it. No thanks, we'll be returning the camera + memory and case and of course the extended warranty. Thanks for the great valentines gift Best Buy.
