Grand Lido All Inclusive Resorts are owned by the all inclusive giant Super Clubs.  Super Clubs also runs the Hedonism , Breezes and Starfish chain of all inclusive resorts.  Because Grand Lido is the five star brand within the SuperClubs group of beach resorts it is priced at a premium.  Like any expensive venture you'll want to ensure you choose the Grand Lido resort that best fits your personality and vacation style.  A mismatch can be the difference between a memorable vacation and one you wish you hadn't paid so much for.  In this article I'll attempt to compare Grand Lido Braco and Grand Lido Negril resorts, not from which Grand Lido resort is superior but which features do each have so you can make up your mind with the best information at hand.  Keep in mind, both Grand Lido Braco and Grand Lido Negril Jamaica resorts are the cream of the crop when it comes to the all inclusive beach resorts in Jamaica.  This actually makes the choice more difficult as I can't point to one Grand Lido resort or the other and state which one you should choose.  Read on and decide for yourself.

Grand Lido Braco

Located in Runaway Bay Jamaica, Grand Lido Braco is off the beaten path compared to Grand Lido Negril.  This means that you'll be further away from shopping and night life outside the resort.  Many people appreciate this in a resort as it keeps local vendors away as well.

 

 

Grand Lido Braco is also a split resort between prude and nude simply meaning that if clothing optional is your thing you can still stay at a five star resort and walk the beach nude as the day is long.  If you don't want to see guests au naturale don't worry as the clothed and clothing optional parts of Grand Lido Braco are split.

 

 

 Grand Lido Braco has more planned activities than Grand Lido Negril, a swim up bar, golf course and in general more people go to Grand Lido Braco.  As a result if you like quieter vacation environments you may want to investigate Grand Lido Negril.  If you like mingling with guests, your best bet to ensure a lively group is Grand Lido Braco.  If you prefer large pools to a nice beach this may also be an asset for Grand Lido Braco.  While the beach at Grand Lido Braco is not a problem, the Negril Grand Lido resort one is slightly nicer at the expense of the pool. 

Grand Lido Negril

Located in the laid back town of Negril you'll be close to great shopping and great night life.  Popular destinations include Rick's Cafe for cliff diving and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville or The Jungle night club.  There are even parties on the public beaches in Negril so you'll definitely have more off resort options here.  While Negril is a laid back casual town, Grand Lido Negril is the more formal of the two resorts.  As a result, you may find a younger more active crowd at Grand Lido Braco.  The beach at Grand Lido Negril is a bit nicer and has less people using it.  You may prefer Grand Lido Negril if you want a more secluded romantic type of vacation.  Grand Lido Negril has a resort owned Yacht called M/Y Zein.  Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday a sunset cocktail cruise leaves resort and cruises the Bloody Bay.  If you stay at Grand Lido Negril be sure to book this cruise early as it is very popular.
