Twin Cities Food and Wine Show Minneapolis Convention Center The Twin Cities Food and Wine Show is my favorite annual event at the Minneapolis Convention Center. For three days, hundreds of food, wine, beer, and cheese vendors turn the Minneapolis Convention Center into the largest food and wine experience imaginable. My first time to the Twin Cities Food and Wine Show I wasn't even into wine. The good news is that there is so much food and beer to taste that this wasn't a problem. I thought I was just tagging along so my wife could taste wine but I had a great time myself. The next year I had acquired a taste for wine and could enjoy the Food and Wine Show even more. Each year Byerly's hosts a large food display in the center of the Food and Wine Show. There is a theme to the display that changes each year. Last year it was a trip to various food famous locations in the US such as Kansas City and New Orleans. Surrounding the Food and Wine Show are scheduled dinners and wine tasting held at various hotels in Minneapolis. These are typically more expensive but would make for a great addition to any wine tasting experience. The Millennium Hotel is the official hotel of the Food and Wine Experience and makes a great place to stay so you don't have to drive home. (As of 1/7 there were only rooms available at the Millennium on 2/25 and 2/27)
