Copelands New Orleans Restaurant in Minneapolis remains one of my favorite places to eat when I visit the Twin Cities. Located right across from Block e on Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, Copelands provides a great place to experience some of that southern food that Minnesota plain lacks. Copelands is a large restaurant so if you are eating with a group have no fear but do call ahead. The bar at Copelands is also large and impressive and the bartenders make great drinks. My favorite is the jambalaya which is served Minnesota spicy so if you like it very spicy be sure to ask or you'll get a good jambalaya but quite mild. The wait staff at Copelands are very helpful if you can't decide or just need to know more about a menu item. When your done eating you can visit many of the other places in the area such as the Block E complex featuring the Escape Ultra Lounge and Hard Rock Cafe.
