One of my favorite restaurants in Maple Grove is Houlihan's.  I believe that the reason I enjoy Houlihans is that there just isn't anything to dislike.  The menu is huge and has a lot of variety.  Usually I find a few dishes a restaurant does well and don't stray too much.  I find this hard because at Houlihan's everything is excellent.  My favorite is the Dublin Pot Roast which is tender beef, smothered with gravy on mashed potatoes.  The dish is surrounded by crisp vegetables and fried onions.  Talk about down home cooking.  The bar is nicely separated from the dining area and has a great happy hour around dinner and I believe after nine.  Pint drafts are two for one and the bar tenders are very friendly. 

Seating at Houlihan's is surprisingly never a problem.  In Maple Grove it seems you are always waiting for a table at restaurants.  Houlihan's is large enough to accommodate the hungry masses and its rare you must wait.  Even then the wait is short as the staff is very efficient clearing tables when the guests leave.
